How To Tell If Your Lamp Has The Right Size Bulb
The weight and size of the lamp determines the size of the bulb used. Your lamp should be warm to the touch, but not excessively hot. If you notice your lamp "sweating" on the outside, then you need a higher watt bulb as there is too much moisture in the air and the lamp is not warm enough to burn it off. If you lamp is "sweating" on the inside where the bulb is stored, then the wattage is too high and you need to put a lower watt bulb inside. Some guidelines are listed below. Since each lamp is unique and not factory made, some lamps may require a different wattage than listed.
