Why Is Grapefruit Seed Extract Used?

Also called liquid gold, our final ingredient, grapefruit seed extract, is a liquid derived from the seeds and pulp of grapefruit.  This liquid is reported to be anti-microbial, meaning it fights against bacteria.  GSE strengthens the immune system, naturally aids the body in the removal of toxins, and helps neutralize free-radicals.  Studies also showed it to be effective in killing over 800 bacterial and viral strains, 100 strains of fungus, and a large number of parasites.

How Do I Use It?

HimaMist is safe to use for all ages. Available in two formulas, regular and kids, HimaMist is made of all food-grade ingredients, without the addition of harmful chemicals or preservatives. Kids strength is gentle enough for even the littlest of noses.  If you or your child have extra sensitive noses or only occassional allergies, then kids formula is probably enough.  If you or your child is a more moderate to severe allergy sufferer, then the regular strength is recommended.  The ingredients are not heated or treated in any way to insure they remain in their most natural state and maintain their health benefits.  Simply use 1-2 sprays in each nostril as needed or as directed by your physician.
